Gingerbread Pudding Cake



This is a warm and comforting dessert that tastes like gingerbread and has a thick, pudding-like texture. It's easy to make in a slow cooker.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 1/2 cups hot water

Instructions:

Mix the cocoa powder, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, salt, and sugar in a bowl with a whisk

Add the molasses, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract and mix well

Fill the bottom of a slow cooker that has been greased with batter

Put hot water on top of the mix

Don't stir

Place the dish on high and cover it

Cook for two to three hours, or until the cake is set and the pudding starts to bubble around the edges

Spoon warm pudding cake into bowls and serve
