Macadamia Nut Crusted Tilapia



This Macadamia Nut Crusted Tilapia is a delightful blend of crunchy nuts and tender fish, with a hint of sweetness from honey and tanginess from Dijon mustard. It's an elegant yet easy-to-make dish that's perfect for any seafood lover.

Ingredients:

  • 4 tilapia fillets
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375F 190C

In a bowl, mix together chopped macadamia nuts, breadcrumbs, melted butter, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and pepper

Pat the tilapia fillets dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper

Brush each tilapia fillet with a thin layer of Dijon mustard

Coat the tilapia fillets evenly with the macadamia nut mixture, pressing gently to adhere

Place the coated tilapia fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the crust is golden brown and crispy

Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired
