Ingredients:
- 1 lb spaghetti noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 24 oz jar marinara sauce
- 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish optional
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F 175C
Cook spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside
In a large skillet, brown ground beef with chopped onion and minced garlic over medium heat until beef is no longer pink and onions are translucent; drain excess fat
Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes
In a separate bowl, mix together softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth
In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread half of the cooked spaghetti noodles
Top spaghetti noodles with half of the cream cheese mixture, spreading evenly
Pour half of the meat sauce over the cream cheese layer
Repeat layers with remaining spaghetti noodles, cream cheese mixture, and meat sauce
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the top
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes
Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving
