Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo



Enjoy the creamy goodness of shrimp fettuccine Alfredo, a traditional Italian pasta dish that is rich, savory, and very filling. Al dente fettuccine noodles are served with shrimp that is very tender and covered in a rich Alfredo sauce made from cream and Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions:

Cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions

Drain and set aside

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat

Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute

Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side

Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside

In the same skillet, pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer

Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth

Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste

Add cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss until well coated in the Alfredo sauce

Return cooked shrimp to the skillet and gently toss with the pasta

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving
