Avocado on Toast Burger



With creamy avocado, crispy bacon, and a perfectly fried egg, this is a tasty take on the classic burger. That mix of tastes is making my mouth water!

Ingredients:

  • 2 burger buns
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, cheese
  • Hot sauce or ketchup optional

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375F 190C

Place the bacon slices on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until crispy

Remove and set aside

While the bacon is cooking, slice the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh into a bowl

Mash the avocado with a fork and season with salt and pepper to taste

In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat

Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook to your desired level of doneness e

Toast the burger buns until they are lightly browned

Assemble the Avocado on Toast Burgers: Spread the mashed avocado onto the bottom half of each burger bun

Top with a cooked egg, 2 slices of bacon, and any optional toppings you desire

Place the top bun on the stack

Serve immediately with hot sauce or ketchup if desired
