Cheesy Chicken Pasta Bake



A comforting and satisfying pasta bake loaded with tender chicken, tangy tomato sauce, and plenty of melted cheesy goodness.

Ingredients:

  • 300g pasta
  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 350F 182C

Follow the directions on the package to cook the pasta until it is al dente

Remove the water and set it aside

Warm up the olive oil in a big pan over medium-low heat

It will take about 5 to 6 minutes of cooking after adding the diced chicken until it is browned and fully cooked

Take the chicken out of the pan and set it aside

Put chopped onion and minced garlic in the same pan

It will take about two to three minutes of cooking until the onion is clear

Tomato sauce, dried basil, and dried oregano should all be mixed in now

Add pepper and salt to taste

For 5 minutes, let it cook

Mix the cooked chicken and pasta together in the pan by stirring them around

Put the mixture in a baking dish

Put grated Parmesan and mozzarella cheese on top

Put it in an oven that is already hot and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cheese melts and bubbles
