Ingredients:
- 1 can 15 oz chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tablespoons sesame flour
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt, to taste
- 2-4 tablespoons water, as needed
Instructions:
In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, sesame flour, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, and salt
Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed
If the mixture is too thick, add water gradually until desired consistency is reached
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary
Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl
Drizzle with a little extra olive oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds for garnish, if desired
Serve with your favorite vegetables, crackers, or pita bread
